Once Upon a Time there was an hermosa señorita teching in a School in Schaumburg, IL, who had to go back to her country, Spain as the three year Visa expired sometime time this year.

One Friday some of her school friends asked her if she wanted to go out on Friday, May 17th for tapas, she eagerly agreed on the date as she didn´t have any plan for that night..... She would tell her trainer to cancell the Friday session so that she wouldn´t feel sooooo tired after her workout. Good plan!!!

But absent-minded as anyone can be..... she completely forgot about that, so some time that week, when another friend suggested something else for that Friday..... she said, yes without any hesitation... of course, she had forgotten, and the thing is, what the F$%#!!!! it is something I also like a lot and I need it.... a night in a salon de belleza, beauty place, to have a facial, nails and EVERYTHING! Done, for free....

How could Rosa say no to that??????? There she goes all happy the very same afternoon..... after class, and sees, her two friends from school, who asked her: "Ready for Friday?" Rosa freaked out and said with her soft voice.... :"I, I, I can´t... somebody else had proposed something I cannot reject!!! oh Shit!!! I´m sorry!!!! I´m sorry" Her two friends, were all giggles and teasing Laughing their Ass%S out.... poor Rosa didn´t know what they were doing....

So as Friday was coming close, Rosa was getting more and more excited about the fact that she was going to have a facial done, really bad, - "My poor pores were/are like a volcanoe´s crater" she kept saying all week long....... "and I need need my nails to be done, specially now that one of them was broken and in a bad condition. "OMG!!!! I really need it!!!"

However, she felt bad for MAggie and Kat, they wanted to take Rosa out to tapas... to check that bar and give it the real Spanish person's ok on food and drinks (LOL!!!) and I love that too, "Well we can have fun sometime before I leave, I guess..." Rosa thought.

She also thought some of her school friends were kind of up to something, but she didn´t really think about anything special going on, only sometime at the end of the school so that we will all be together and enjoy and so the week went by.

(MEanwhile, I now can imagine, my dear Eva and Lorena, with Magali, emailing each other as crazy.....planning the party.... LOL, the t-shirt... I have to admit that I saw Laura giving the Parfume to Magali, but I just thought it would be for anyone else, and I also though I should have bought it some months ago... )

Rosa was looking forward for Friday soooooo badly, as the week was not really going very ell, specially in the afternoon, and then busy with packing and trying to figure things out in her mind, trying not to feel sad because she was leaving so that she could really enjoy her days.... And trying to convince herself that all her fears will go away when she arrives home sweet home, and that everything will be ok.

She was also fighting with her weight and her cardio, she hates it, she feels weak and stops doing what her trainer wants her to do so she could lose more weight, but she doesn´t feel confident, she doesn´t fight enough... and that brings her down. But then....

Friday arrives!!!! TGIF and payday Friday! OLE!!!!! GOODDD!!! Biennnnn, At last!!!! After a calm morning, there comes the afternoon, with her goofy kids, trying not to loose her patient, which she finally looses. Knowing that nothing was going to change...."WHATEVER!!!!

Rosa keeps telling herself: "It is Friday, you are going to have a facial done, and your nails and you are going to enjoy the good company of your friends, Eva and Lorena which is always funny so what!"

Planning time for Rosa, she will do some things she has to do and then she goes to the teacher´s lounge to have her snack before leaving, she has to go to the sumpermarket to buy Jamon and something else.... she sees her friends giggling outside Kat´s office, and when they see her they stop... so she thinks, "what are they up to?, they are doing something, I have seen strange things going on this week in the lounge, Laura giving something to Magali which looked like a parfume I like a lot, Kat giggling all the time... but no, this is not for you Rosita, you are going somewhere else with Lorena and Eva..... it may be for something else, and besides you never know what is going on in school, so go say goodbye and leave! You are going to be late!"

It was late so I didn´t go to the supermarket after the funny coversation I am not going to mention here...... LOL !!!!! "hmmm strange that so many people is in school yet being Friday.... whatever I´m leaving see you on Monday people!" I think. I even complain about my nail again telling Maggie:"look!!! Look how bad this is!!! I am running out of here"

OMG innocent Rosa..... sweet, naive, Rosita, you don´t know what these people have for you!!! after checking my email at home and get on Lorena´s car, they tell me we have to stop at the shop where Lorena works too..... she needs to buy a bottle of wine to Sylvia.... "it is weird but it is ok, I have a bad day now, so give some wine... " Both Eva an Lorena looking at each other all the time but I was thinking "what the hell I am tired now, I don´t even want to get oout of the car...."

We finally open the stuck door of Lorena´s car, "If you unlock it rosa it will be easier I´m telling you!" and we go in, "I don´t really feel like going out of the car, but ok, let´s go, wine will cheer you up!," I thought.

And tachan!!!!! When I came in I really didn´t see anyone, until they all shouted "surprise!!"" "OMG! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is this, what is this, LORENA; EVA !!!!! os mato!! (I´ll kill you!!)

Where is my facial, and my nails, omg!!!! but guys what are you all doing here!!!! Thanksssss...... omg, you did that for me, now I want to cry, LOL F!"·$%& I am all shaky! I don´t know what to say! " Thankssss!!!! LOL guys you are crazy what a t-shirt with a picture of Kevin LMAO I'll wear it for my next workout!!!" LOL OH! I even have a gift card to really go to have my facial!!! OmG the Perfume I LOVE IT!!!!, beautiful thank you cards made by Joyce" I didn´t find the card until the followining morning. Now I want to cry, tears of happiness and sadness because of leaving oh, well.... hm let's enjoy the wine!!!"

Some time later another surprise comes in Kevin, "omg he is also here, what, what what!!"" LOL, "ohhhwww!!!! he brought flowers for me!!! so sweet...!!!" LMAO looking at some faces when he came in LOL LOL LOL!!!! Eva planned that even in front of me on Wednesday, he couldn't be there on Friday , to tell you the truth I WAS HAPPY!!! LOL Fridays are horrible ..... I used to love them... but now.... LOL!!!

Good wine, good company interesting conversations, funny people around me, well, after closing the store, we have dinner in El Meson, .... God only knows how bad I wanted to have a Mojito.... I was starving so I have dinner with my friends and gooooo to another place, to finish the night having Sangria and dancing kind of in the flamenco way, which I don't know how to dance, but I just try.... LOL

Home again! 21 hours up and running! I check the pictures that Lorena took, and laugh out loud again, everything was so good, but now, my bed is yelling at me!!! I am an exhausted, but happy girl!

I will remember it forever!
I will not forget any of the people I met here, anyone, for the good times and even in the not so good times, these last ones had made me stronger...

These three years here have been awesome!!!!

I WILL BE BACK! As a tourist, though.... LOL, so I can sleep siesta as much as I want!

You really need to think about a field trip for teachers to Madrid.... I'll take care of accomodation and guided tours.... LOL!!!
